Uzondi - Angisayisebenzi

South African Maskandi artist uZondi continues his musical journey with “Angisayisebenzi,” a recording featured on his latest album, WENKULUNKULU. The song was highlighted among the South African music releases of October 8, 2026, ahead of the album's October 9 listing. It marks another addition to the musician's developing catalogue, bringing attention to his continued involvement in traditional Zulu music. With Maskandi remaining an important platform for cultural storytelling and indigenous-language expression, this latest offering provides listeners with another opportunity to explore the artist's creative work and his contributions to the genre.

“Angisayisebenzi” occupies the ninth position on WENKULUNKULU, a ten-track project that includes “NIHLALA KULIPHI?,” “SENGIYAHLULEKA,” “LWALUNGEKE,” “HARDWARE,” and “NGIZE.” The title can be understood in isiZulu as an expression relating to no longer working, although the recording's complete lyrical narrative has not been independently established. Beyond this collection, uZondi has previously introduced projects such as Ngingohlakaniphile and Into Yamahhala, which form part of his established discography. These earlier releases provide additional context for audiences interested in following his artistic progression and exploring his wider repertoire.

The arrival of “Angisayisebenzi” adds another selection to uZondi's body of recorded material while drawing attention to the broader WENKULUNKULU album. For fans of contemporary Maskandi and traditional South African music, the composition offers an opportunity to discover the musician's recent output alongside his previous recordings. Listeners searching for new isiZulu songs and October 2026 Maskandi releases can explore this track as part of the complete project, gaining further insight into the material presented by the artist.
