South African Maskandi artist Njabulo Langa adds another compelling song to his growing catalogue with “Ngiyakhuzwa,” a traditional-meets-contemporary release featured on his uBhanyazile album. The project was released in July 2026 through Electromode Virgin Music Group SA and celebrates the depth of Zulu musical culture through modern Maskandi production.

With “Ngiyakhuzwa,” Njabulo Langa continues to demonstrate his commitment to the storytelling traditions that have made Maskandi one of South Africa's most distinctive musical genres. The song sits within an album that combines traditional Zulu influences, expressive vocals, rhythmic guitar work, and contemporary production.

The track forms part of the 17-song uBhanyazile project, which includes collaborations and solo performances from Njabulo Langa alongside several respected names from the Maskandi scene. “Ngiyakhuzwa” appears toward the closing stages of the album, following tracks such as “Sizodlula La,” “Nginike,” and “Sengizame Kaningi.”
