Issi - Play Fair

South African rapper Issi keeps 6lekkes ~ Rd 6 moving with “Play Fair,” a focused 3-minute-and-2-second track that occupies the fifth position on the eight-song project. Released on September 25, 2026 through BIG EAGLE MUSIC, the song follows “No More Tears” and comes directly before “Coshu’pin,” placing it at the beginning of the project’s closing stretch. Qobuz lists 6lekkes ~ Rd 6 as a Hip-Hop/Rap release with a total runtime of 23 minutes and 56 seconds, confirming “Play Fair” as one of the core solo records on the project rather than an added bonus or feature-heavy cut.

The title gives Issi a strong platform for themes of fairness, loyalty, respect and personal boundaries without requiring an oversized arrangement. Coverage of the track has described it as carrying a direct, street-oriented attitude, with the phrase “Play Fair” naturally suggesting expectations around honesty and how people treat one another. Within the wider project, that tone provides useful contrast after the four-minute Lowfeye collaboration “No More Tears.” Instead of extending the emotional weight of the previous song, “Play Fair” brings the focus back to Issi alone and keeps the album moving with a tighter, more self-contained performance.

For listeners searching for Issi – Play Fair, fresh South African hip-hop, Durban rap or music from 6lekkes ~ Rd 6, the record is an important part of the project’s middle-to-late sequence. The album moves through eight songs including “Go Down Low,” “Ishayile,” “Safe,” “No More Tears,” “Coshu’pin,” “Hop Out” and the closing “Opp Converter (Bonus),” with “Play Fair” helping connect its more reflective material to the energetic final run. Its concise 3:02 runtime fits the streamlined structure of 6lekkes ~ Rd 6, allowing Issi to make his presence felt without overcomplicating the moment and giving fans another clear example of the direct, compact approach shaping his 2026 releases.
