Imfezemnyama - Sengimxolele ft. Phumlani Khumalo

South African Maskandi artist Imfezemnyama joins forces with Phumlani Khumalo on “Sengimxolele,” a reflective song from the Imfene album. The track appears among the project’s central selections and continues the album’s focus on emotional storytelling, personal experiences and the realities of everyday life.

“Sengimxolele” carries a message of forgiveness and emotional release, with its title translating roughly to “I have forgiven him/her.” Imfezemnyama brings an expressive, storytelling-led performance to the song, while Phumlani Khumalo adds his distinctive musical contribution to the recording.

The track forms part of Imfene, a 16-song project released through Amabunjwa Records. It sits between “Hheshe Babhem” and “Umoyawami,” creating a natural transition from the more energetic material into the album’s increasingly reflective second half.
